Home of the High Elf Team
The high elves are the most ancient and civilised of all the slann children - the first to be seeded into the warhammer world. Even before the collapse of the warpgates, the high elf culture blossomed on their island home, the primeval Ulthuan, where they practiced the arts of poetry and magic, taught to them by the slann themselves. It was the high elves that, facing the very first incursion of chaos, stood their ground, and indeed saved the world from the coming apocalypse. Since then, the high elves have seen more conflict than peace, and since longevity matters little when wars refuse to end, and the high elves have all but stopped breeding - the high elves are a dying species. The high elves have been forced to retreat to their ancestral land, abandoning their colonies, and forbidding all others to set foot on Ulthuan.
But now, after years of isolation, the high elves reestablished contact with the surrounding world, and with this new era, blood bowl came to ulthuan. The high elf race is a proud one, their movement is graceful and their minds are strong. Insightful and clever, the high elves are masters of magic, and all that is beautiful to eye and ear - but still, they are also easily bored for their lives are long, and decadence and intrigue allure the noble elves. Delicate as they may seem, the high elves can be cold and haughty, quick to anger and slow to forgive, and do not doubt that all the other races are their infiriors - a fact to which their blood bowl teams give endless testemony.

The high elves combine an excellent passing game, with the strength to bring the fight to their opponents. Haughty and proud they yield to no opponent. | |||||||||

Least interesting of the elf teams, high elves did what dark elves and wood elves did better. With the dark elves out of the passing game, the high elves still needed their own angle. The answer is higher AV and lower MA. Now, the 3 elf teams are all different - in much the same way as the skaven, human and orc teams are different from each other. |
